'The Riddle Pond' is a new musical about a heartbroken boy who learns about the nature of true love through a series of riddles.
THE RIDDLE LADY - Katherine Leyva (www.spotlight.com/9251-0199-9530)
Katherine graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Vocal Arts. She performed for many years in the San Francisco area, appearing in such musicals such as "Mary Poppins", "The Rocky Horror Show", "Sunday in the Park with George", and "Company". Since hopping across the pond, Katherine has performed in new musicals and pantomimes including "Dick Whittington" and "Mother Goose".
BOY - Vicente Carlos Luque (www.spotlight.com/1070-0166-4417)
Graduated in Acting for Musical Theatre in E.S.A.D Malaga in Spain, Vicente has continued his studies in London attending acting courses in Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Physical Lab and Associated Studios. Credits include: Moritz in Spring Awakening, MC/swing in Cabaret, Eros/Lycus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Hedwig in Hedwig and The Angry Inch, in addition to a great number of Spanish plays by Lorca, Buero Vallejo, Lope de Vega. Ashley is a classically trained New York actress, singer & writer. Most recently she played Cindy in the web-series Casting Directors alongside Lawrence Waiting & Anthony Vander. During her professional training, Ashley penned & performed her one woman show: An Afternoon with Lydia Wickham, Nee Bennet directed by Alison King. Ashley looks forward to working in the next Award winning Netflix series or any role opposite Victoria Hamilton-Barritt!
MOVEMENT DIRECTOR - Roman Berry
Artistic Director for Divergent Theatre Collective, Roman trained in Australia: Center for Performing Arts (Dance) & Flinders University Drama Center (Theatre). PIANIST - Antonina Pawlak
Antonina Pawlak, everyone calls her Tosia. Vocalist, songwriter and pianist based in London. She was five years old when she started playing the piano, and since then she continued her music education at various music schools. Currently studying vocals in BIMM London. Apart from music, she loves African culture, travelling and meeting new people.
'The Riddle Pond' will be performed as part of Metamorphoses Festival at the Bread and Roses Theatre, 7.30pm on 15-16th & 18th-20th May
