‘IO RESTORED’ by Christian Simonsen
'Io Restored' tells the story of what happened to Io decades after the famous events covered by classic mythology. While Ovid vividly described Io's transformation into a cow and back again, this new play describes a less fantastical, but equally dramatic metamorphosis: the change from a young girl to a middle-aged woman.
