INTRODUCING THE PLAYS & CAST 1/5: PASSENGERS
‘PASSENGERS or what ever happened to Icarus’ by Daniel Julian
A modern reinterpretation of the myth of Icarus and Daedalus in relation to the routines we make everyday in public transport and how that impacts the way we perceive the world in the present time. In a dystopian future where everything is provided and marked for everyone's needs, Icarus one day decides to deviate from his path and challenge the established rules. This unveils a series of events that exposes the flaws of this apparent perfect world, and forces its habitants to look at the world through a critical lens.
