DANIEL JULIAN (‘Passengers or what ever happened to Icarus’)
Daniel Julian is a Spanish actor and writer based in London. He studied at Brunel University London and later trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Daniel has been often involved in devising work and contemporary theatre. While he is interested in innovative and thought provoking theatre, Greek mythology has always been a source of inspiration for his writing. Passengers or what ever happened to Icarus? is Daniel's first fully performed piece.
HÉLOÏSE THUAL (‘Until My Tears Turn Stones’)
Héloïse spent almost three years associated with the Playwright Studio Scotland, first accepted in the Mentorship program in 2014, she wrote All Women Got Something Of Sido under the direction of Clare Duffy. In 2016, she was awarded the New Playwrights Award and developed a play Unequally Of Clay And Diamonds under the direction of Alan McKendrick. In March 2016, she received a small grant through the Tom McGrath Institute in order to help create her first production The Paper Bag with the partnership of the Glasgow based company Urban Fairy Tales. The Paper Bag was firstly presented at the Tron before being re interpreted in Govanhill Baths.
CHRISTIAN SIMONSEN (‘Io Restored’)
Christian Simonsen lives in San Francisco, California. He is honored to be one of the contributing playwrights in Off The Cliff's first production! This will be Christian's second play produced in London. Christian's plays have been performed stateside in San Francisco, Denver, Houston, Columbus, Louisville and Minneapolis. Christian’s short play Eve of the Vertebrates won 1st Place in the 2016 Stony Brook University Science Playwriting Competition. Currently he writes for the sketch comedy group Killing My Lobster. CHRISTOPHER MOORE (‘The Other Side’)
Christopher completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature at Queen's University Belfast from 2007-2011, and was accepted onto the Curtis Brown Creative novel-writing course in 2013. In 2014 Christopher participated in the Fireworks young writers' programme with Tinderbox Theatre Company, including a rehearsed reading of a 10-minute play, and from 2015-2016 studied the MA in TV Fiction Writing at Glasgow Caledonian University, where he also had a rehearsed reading of another short play.
